Our Story

Vintage 240Zs — Est. 1996

In 1996, Mike Perot's family shop — contracted directly by Nissan — built a factory-backed Datsun 240Z restoration program. Twenty-three cars were restored and sold through dealerships with warranties starting at $25,000 each (about $3,000 new back in the 1970s), with one displayed at the LA Auto Show. Today those same 23 cars are valued at over $100,000 apiece.

Mike has been working on Z cars since he was 14 and has personally restored more than 300 of them since — including some of Southern California's most recognized 240Zs, like a rare 1-of-32 survivor car brought back to full original condition. Our mission is simple: help everyday enthusiasts restore a quality 240Z without getting overcharged.
